MHK hopes to cut charge time limits to help those who don't have off-road parking

Work is ongoing to make charging electric cars easier for motorists who don't have off-road parking.

Chair of the Climate Change Transformation Board Daphne Caine says she's been in talks with the Department of Infrastructure to reduce time limits on public charging points.

Recently, the number of public chargers stood at 113, with more than 1,000 EVs registered on Island.

Mrs Caine says ensuring drivers can charge their vehicles in public will make them more attractive to those who can't install a charger at home:
