The verdict of misadventure at the inquest into the deaths of those who lost their lives in the Summerland fire almost 50 years ago 'only exacerbates the pain' of their loss.

That's from UK MP Justin Madders, who's leading calls for the Isle of Man Government to apologise for the failings that led to the disaster and overturn the misadventure verdict.

Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Courts and Legal Services within the Ministry of Justice Mike Freer is visiting the Isle of Man today - after listening to the debate in the House of Commons yesterday, he confirmed he would convey the concerns to the Chief Minister during his trip.
