Manx Breast Cancer Support group 'so very grateful'
West End star Samantha Barks has appeared on Celebrity Catchphrase winning £15,000 for an Isle of Man charity.
The Manx actor took part in the special festive episode on Saturday evening (30 December).
Her chosen charity, Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, says: "It was so very kind of her to choose our Charity to benefit from her appearance tonight. She did so well and won a wonderful £15,000 for Manx Breast Cancer Support Group We are all so very grateful to her."
"When we started Manx Breast Cancer Support Group 12 years ago, Sam kindly agreed to be our Patron and her father Richard also helped us with planning for the Breast Unit. Since then she has gone on to do the most fantastic things. She’s now a well known Celebrity and just recently she’s become a mum - how fabulous - well done Sam.
"I was filled with pride tonight to hear the name of our Manx Charity mentioned on national TV . Together we have raised over £8.2m. Thank you so much for all you do to help."
