Case to be committed to higher court in October
A Douglas man has appeared in court charged with rape.
Jackson Joseph Paul of Palace Road didn't enter a plea when he appeared before the Deputy High Bailiff this week.
The 34-year-old's case was adjourned until 17 October, when the case will be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
He was bailed until his next appearance in the sum of £500.
