Ranson: Chief minister to make statement in Tynwald

A number of other items are expected to be discussed following the Budget speech

Though the 2024 Budget takes centre stage today, the question paper will also attract attention at this month's sitting of Tynwald.

There's a statement from the chief minister on the independent review of government management of the Rosalind Ranson tribunal.

This will be followed by a personal statement from Alex Allinson about the loan facility available to the Manx Development Corporation.

There are Public Accounts Committee recommendations off the back of the Liverpool Ferry Terminal experience, and from Mr Speaker comes a motion on the proposed new Castle Rushen High school.

When the question paper is taken, its 28 inquiries include the minimum wage, Tramway Terrace, suicide prevention measures, Tesco credit cards and the removal of salt bins.

Off-road parking provision at Arbory School and an overspend at the NSC also feature.
