Police want to speak to people spotted on closed roads

Spectators seen entering TT Course ahead of racing

Police say they are trying to make contact with two people seen on closed roads in the area of the Creg Ny Baa this morning (9 June).

The man and woman were pictured standing in the middle of the road taking photographs minutes after the TT Course was shut for racing.

Officers would like to speak to the individuals involved.

They are asked to make themselves known to a marshall, or any police officer, or to contact Police Headquarters on 01624 631212.

(UPDATE 2PM: Officers are attending separate reports of spectators either on or crossing the TT Course on closed roads.

In a social media post, they said: 'This is totally unacceptable and incredibly dangerous. Officers are en-route to deal with these incidents.')
