Police ask people not to speculate as search continues for missing man

The 39-year-old was last seen on Sunday (17 September)

Police are urging people not to speculate as the search continues for missing Jamie Barrow.

The 39-year-old was last seen on Sunday (17 September).

A multi-agency team have focused their search in the Ramsey and Maughold area.

While Jamie was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black and grey work trousers, there is a possibility he may have been wearing a black coloured thick outdoor style jacket and ‘Dewalt’ branded work trousers but it cannot be confirmed fully at this time.

It is also believed that Jamie had in his possession a large green camouflage/army style bergen which he was carrying at the time of his last sighting.

Residents are advised to remain vigilant over the weekend and anyone with any further information or sightings are urged to contact Douglas Police Headquarters on 631212.
