Police appeal for information following rise in anti-social behaviour in Laxey

A number of incidents have been reported recently

A rise in anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in Laxey has prompted police to appeal for information.

Officers say over the festive period, the Rose Gardens shelter suffered damage after the wires for its Christmas lights were cut.

They've also seen public toilets by the football club set alight, and more recently a hosepipe was placed into the Manx Electric Railway building causing significant flood damage.

Police suspect the incidents are connected, and while investigations are ongoing, are asking for anyone with information to come forward and contact headquarters on 631 212, or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
