Police release figures as Winter Vehicle Check campaign draws to a close
More than 200 drivers have been handed notices by police this month after their vehicles were found to have defects.
It's as part of the Isle of Man Constabulary's annual Winter Vehicle Check campaign.
Some of the issues included lights out and balding tyres.

So far, officers have stopped 440 vehicles during the campaign - which has been running throughout November.
Of those, 213 were issued Vehicle Defect Rectification notices - which means the owners have to get a garage to confirm the identified problems' been fixed as proof for the police.
Thirteen vehicles were seized either for having no tax, no insurance, or the driver having no licence.
Nine people were given fixed penalty notices for crimes including not wearing a seat belt, while seven are due to be summoned to court over the condition of their vehicle.
Three people were also arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
