More than 50 calls for government's Integrity Line

25 complaints referred to MIRS with two cases passed to the police

More than 50 calls have been made to a government phoneline set up for public sector workers to raise significant concerns or report major wrongdoing since it was set up in September 2022.

Up to December last year, a total of 56 calls have been made to the Integrity Line, which was established in a bid to improve the culture within the civil service following the Dr Rosalind Ranson tribunal.

Nine of the calls have been referred to the Audit Advisory Division within Treasury, with two of those cases being passed to the police.

Twenty five of the complaints have resulted in referrals to the Manx Industrial Relations Service, while 22 anonymous referrals have been received by the Office of Human Resources since April 2023.
