New project will give tips on how to encourage nature
Landowners are being encouraged to take part in a survey, aimed to build a picture of the state of nature around the Isle of Man.
It's hoped the collaboration between the Manx Wildlife Trust, UNESCO Biosphere and Department for Environment, Food and Agriculture will combat the Island's declared 'biodiversity emergency'.
The Nature Recovery Network ranks landowners' contributions to food, shelter, water, connectivity and natural solutions, as well as providing recommendations.
Its results are being used to create a map plotting nature around the Island.

People with gardens of any size, allotments or other land are being asked to take part.
Farmland and marine areas aren't currently included.
