Glover: 'How many whistleblowing cases in progress on the IoM?'

MHK wants answers from the Cabinet Office

An MHK is set to quiz the cabinet office minister about the number of whistleblowing cases currently in progress on the Isle of Man.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew’s Tim Glover will take his questions for Kate Lord-Brennan to the House of Keys today (13 June).

He also wants to know how many employment tribunals are in progress in each government department, office and board.

It’s one of 10 questions tabled for the sitting – the first after a hiatus for TT.

Fellow Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask the chief minister about the development of the Morgan and Mona wind projects and what engagement with developers has taken place.

North Douglas MHK David Ashford wants answers on the closure of Isle Learn, and ministerial decisions, and they’ll also be questions on Disability Living Allowance and Manx passport holders travelling to India.

The Vaping Products Bill 2023 is also due to receive its second reading, a Sanctions Bill is due to get its third reading and South Douglas MHK Sarah Maltby will ask to make a statement about housing.

Rushen MHK Michelle Haywood will also ask for permission to introduce a Private Members’ Bill to provide the designation of public protection zones within the vicinity of specified premises used for specified medical services, social care services or medical or scientific research.
