Fifty-nine flights cancelled during June

Just over 5% fail to take off

Just over 5% of flights in and out of the Island during June were cancelled.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of the 1,028 scheduled services, 59 failed to take off.

Four other airports in the British Isles had, on average, a worse record throughout the month; London City (267 in 4.501), Alderney (48 in 368), Wick (10 in 92) and Tiree (8 in 132).

The number of cancellations at Ronaldsway during this period is a slight increase on May which stood at just under 5%.
