A report looking at air services has come under scrutiny by former boss of Manx Airlines
Following publication of a review of air services across the Isle of Man, it would appear the prospect of developing a 'Manx airline' is being ruled out.
The review was only published after the former infrastructure minister demanded it be made public.
The review itself looks at passenger numbers up to 2019, routes and its 'open skies' policy.
John Moss spoke to Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston:
The enterprise minister thinks the cost would be a prohibiting factor, but provides a 'detailed' picture of air services.
However, the report itself, contains little in the way of figures - most are redacted.
Analysis of the cost of setting up a Manx airline simply says the cost is 'high'.
Terry Liddiard is the former managing director of Manx Airlines, before it was bought out.
