Commission 'open minded' about election recommendations

Tynwald report due by March next year

The body charged with reviewing elections on the Isle of Man says it's 'open minded' about the recommendations it will make to Tynwald.

The Electoral Commission held the last of its four planned meetings in Peel last night, with the aim of getting the views of the public on things like boundaries, accessibility and whether polling stations rules could be changed.

Attendance at the meetings has generally been poor, but interaction is still being encouraged via the online survey which is open until 28 July.
