Will you be voting in a different constituency at next election?
Voters on the Isle of Man need to be moved out of their current constituencies to ensure the principle of equality is upheld.
That’s the view of the Electoral Commission which has made 13 recommendations ahead of the 2026 General Election.
It believes each of the 12 House of Keys areas needs to have roughly the same number of voters.
As things stand Ramsey and Glenfaba and Peel have more than 15% above the average population.
As a result it's recommended that some Ramsey residents move to Ayre and Michael - while a number of voters in the western constituency would head to polls in Middle instead.
Commission Chair Sally Bolton explains why an even split is needed:
Previous boundary reviews have seen some Onchan residents moved to Garff - something which not all affected have been happy about.
While there have been calls for the Onchan boundary to be reconsidered, no changes are currently recommended.
