The Manx-shot movie The Mutant Chronicles is in the running for a limited release in the United States.
Magnet Releasing has announced it’s acquired US rights to the sci-fi/action epic, which stars Ron Perlman and John Malkovich.
The film is based on a role-playing game and, from the end of March, will be available through a video-on-demand service, followed by a limited cinema release in April.
Isle of Man Film was one of the main financiers, and the latest deal will see a return on its investment.
The Mutant Chronicles was shot in the Island early last year.
