TT course centenary plans unveiled

A special parade recognising 26 'Milestones of the Mountain' will be the headline event at TT 2011.

Next year will mark the centenary of the first time the current 37 and 3/4 mile course was used for the TT races.

The event will be on Senior Race Day and will celebrate the great riders, machines and moments in the history of the famous circuit.

Riders already lined up include Philip McCallen, Phil Read, Giacomo Agostini, Ian Hutchinson, John McGuinness and Dave Molyneux.

There will also be a Day of Champions at the TT Grandstand, an exhibition at the House of Manannan and a special commemorative logo for all merchandise.
