Salute to service and style at Douglas hotel
The Claremont Hotel in Douglas has won the title Isle of Man's Leading Hotel 2016 for the third year in a row, at the prestigious World Travel Awards.
The WTA brand was established in 1993 to reward excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.
Its awards are recognised as a hallmark of quality, with winners voted for by industry professionals and what are called 'high-end tourism consumers'.
The Loch Prom complex recently won a 4-Star Gold Award from Visit Isle of Man and a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.
Earlier this year the hotel invested £1 million in new executive suites and an upgrade to conference and banqueting facilities.
General Manager Ricardo Campos said: "Our next stage of financial investment will continue to develop our standard of excellence as we strive to improve the environment, service and hospitality we offer to our customers."
He added: "Being recognised once again by the industry's top professionals but most importantly the general public, confirms that we continue to progress."
