Host applications open for student placements
The Department for Enterprise is still looking for organisations to take part in the 2019 STEP programme.
The scheme matches Manx undergraduate students with private, public and third sector organisations for project-based placements in July and August.
There are now nearly 60 student applications and over 30 host applications.
The DfE says they would love to be able to offer as many students as possible a project placement, but to do this they need more host applications from private sector.
Past projects have included development of marketing plans, environmental audits and the design and production of literature and many more.
Placements usually commence in July and last a minimum of 8 weeks. The deadline to apply for this year is 31st May 2019.
