Firm's MD recognised by industry
An Island businesswoman is bucking the trend in what has been a male-dominated sector, with a key industry award
MannVend's Managing Director Tracey Leahy has recently been named Member of the Year at the Associated Vending Services annual conference in Villamoura, Portugal.
She remains the only woman to have ever received the award, having won the accolade in 2007.
Tracey joined the board of the AVS only this year, and leads its Marketing Operations Committee.
She said it means a great deal to have received the coveted prize from industry peers.
Operators, manufacturers and suppliers from around Europe including Coke and Mondelez attended the event, where Tracey was presented with her award by Olympic swimmer and commentator at the Rio games, Mark Foster.
