An Island law firm is to offer pay-as-you-go legal advice from its new office in Port St Mary.
Corlett Bolton & Co became the first legal practice in the Island to give clients the option of paying for a lawyer's expert view on an ad-hoc basis.
Instead of risking large bills mounting up by formally engaging the services of an advocate, customers call in to ask for the straightforward advice they need to take the next step in a case.
That offer is proving popular at the firm's outreach branch in the south, which opened in Port St Mary last month.
