Business sponsor salutes roll-call of talent
Former winners of the Isle of Man Close Amateur Golf Championship were brought together for a special reception by championship sponsor Grant Thornton.
Held at Mount Murray Golf Club on Saturday as the championship reached its climax, the reception welcomed 25 past champions and club officials.
Guests watched the title showdown between eventual winner Tom Harris and Andrew Challenor, and then the awards presentation by Grant Thornton Director Michael Crowe.
The championship has been sponsored by Grant Thornton for more than 10 years.
Michael said, "This is the second year that I’ve attended the event and once again I’m impressed by the level of play.
"There are some fantastic amateur golfers coming through the ranks and Tom is a great example of that.
"I’m looking forward to the 2016 event to see if Tom can defend his title."
