Money to be split evenly between organisations
The first show back on the Gaiety Theatre stage since lockdown has raised £30,000 for charity.
Calendar Girls, which was the only unrestricted performance in the UK, was put on by a collaboration of local drama groups united under the name Manx CG2020, to raise money for five charities.
The £30,000 will be split evenly between each of the organisations.
Director Benjamin Heath said: ‘It is always a privilege to perform inside the Gaiety Theatre but to be able to stage a performance at such a unique time and for such fantastic charities has been sublime.'
