Trevor Cowin
Trevor Cowin is an independent candidate and is standing in Glenfaba and Peel.
He's retired and this is his second time he's stood for election, after previously contesting the constituency in 2021.
He has three children and regularly submits Petitions for Redress on Tynwald Day.
In his spare time, he enjoys sea fishing, basking shark watching, wildlife photography, hill walking, foreign travel including worldwide cruising, reading, studying law, submitting Freedom of Information requests and Petitions for Redress to Tynwald.
We asked each candidate to tell us what their priorities would be if elected.
Trevor said to obtain the salary on offer, to obtain generous pension scheme benefits and sick pay benefits, and to obtain payment of salary for bank holidays, and annual holiday payments of eight weeks.
Manx Radio has given all candidates the opportunity to take part in a candidate interview, as well as features called 'Two Minutes to Tell Us' and 'Candid Candidate'.
Trevor has declined our offer to participate.
