Mark Firth

Mark Firth

Mark is an independent candidate standing in the constituency of Arbory, Castletown and Malew.

He's a vehicle technician and this is his first time standing in a general election.

Mark has two gerbils called Toph and Radical Edward, and a 'holiday' dog called Ella.

He's lived on the Island for the past 25 years and has been involved in the performing industry here for the last 10, predominantly in live music.

He also has a love of photography, capturing artists performing around the Island and also the motorsport festivals.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys gaming and gardening.

Mark says: "Like many residents, I care deeply about keeping our Island a thriving place to live, work and build a future."

We asked each candidate to tell us what their top priorities would be for the next administration.

Mark chose government reform, cost of living, housing, and supporting local culture and tourism.
