Michael is standing as an independent candidate in Rushen.
He is a chartered accountant and this is his first time standing in a General Election.
He has one son and enjoys walking and listening to music or podcasts in his spare time.
Michael says: "My family has lived in Rushen for generations, and today, my wife and I are proud to be raising our son in the same community that shaped our lives.
"I am declaring my candidacy for the House of Keys because I want his generation, and all those who follow, to inherit an Island that is thriving, stable, and full of opportunity.
"My professional career has been built on accountability and economic reality. As a chartered accountant I offer an all round view of how our economy must function to serve our community."
We asked each candidate to tell us what their priorities would be if elected.
Michael chose the economy, the construction of a new Castle Rushen High School, healthcare and government spending.
