Peter Karran
Peter is standing for the Liberal Vannin Party in Onchan.
He founded the political party and served as an MHK for more than 30 years, first briefly for Middle with the majority of those years spent as Onchan's representative.
He chose not to run for re-election in 2016, saying it was time to give someone else the opportunity to serve.
However, he says he's 'horrified' at the way many things have gone backwards over the last 10 years, and this will be the eighth time he has stood in a General Election.
He has a dog and in his spare time enjoys learning the Manx language.
Peter says: "I believe that my experience will help in a very challenging time, and help set the direction of government for our nation."
We asked each candidate to tell us what their priorities would be if elected.
Peter says: "Stop undermining the social advancement seen in the last 40 years for the next generation on housing, pensions, and health service provisions, as well as sorting out the housing crisis and sorting out the toxic environment affecting the broadening of the economic base of the nation stopping crony capitalism."
