Arwid is standing as an independent candidate in Douglas South, although he'd previously announced his intention to also stand in Douglas East.
He is currently a commissioner for both Ramsey and Douglas, and this is his first time standing in a General Election.
He's a Maritime Security Officer at the Sea Terminal, and has a dog.
In his spare time, Arwid enjoys Isle of Man history and heritage and dog walking.
We asked each of the candidates what their priority would be if elected.
Arwid chose affordable homes and lower everyday costs, better healthcare and safer communities, and controlled growth and protecting the Island's future.
