Peter Gilmour

Peter Gilmour is an independent candidate and this is his first time standing for the House of Keys.

He's an IT professional, having spent the past ten years working for clients in the eGaming industry, specialising in data engineering and data science.

As well as professional certificates in IT technologies and project management, he also has an engineering degree and an MBA.

He also spent nearly a decade with the Royal Air Force and worked with a number of large companies on and off Island.

He has two children and in his spare time enjoys reading, writing, astronomy/cosmology and football.

We asked each candidate to choose three priorities from the following issues or add their own:

Climate change, heritage, tourism, public transport, affordable housing, roads, mental health, education, falling birth rate, encouraging university students to return to the Island.

Peter chose affordable housing and climate change, while adding the Manx economy and both local and national government reform.
