Graham Cregeen reacts to home affairs appointment

The newly-appointed home affairs minister insists his new role hasn't come as a result of the teachers' pay dispute.

Graham Cregeen leaves his post as education minister to take charge of the Department of Home Affairs.

Members of three unions involved in an ongoing dispute with the Department of Education, Sport and Culture recently backed a vote of no confidence in Mr Cregeen.

He says this move isn't connected:

Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson replaces Mr Cregeen at the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
