Retail boss says some shops will have already made preparations
A leading figure in the Island's retail sector says the loss of TT will be felt higher up the supply chain, as well as in shops.
Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce retail lead Andrew Corrie believes it's too soon to tell how big an effect the cancellation of the event will have for retailers.
A wide range of stores benefit from the increased population during the fortnight.
And Mr Corrie says some will have already started their preparations when the event was cancelled in March:
Meanwhile, the landlord of a pub on the TT Course says the loss of this year's racing has re-emphasised the importance of having a viable year-round business.
TT 2020, which would've been on now, was cancelled in March because of the coronavirus pandemic.
