Latest talks failed to result in agreement
There's still no formal response from the Communication Workers Union following meetings with the Post Office Board last week.
The Isle of Man Post Office said it was "disappointed" after the latest round of negotiations with the union ended on Thursday without agreement.
Union members have staged two strikes in recent months in their ongoing dispute over pay and pension arrangements.
Chief Executive Simon Kneen expressed frustration that CWU negotiator Terry Pullinger was unwilling to put their latest proposals to a member vote, as he suggested they had support for the changes from the other employee union they recognise, CMA/Unite.
He also stated that some of the local CWU membership had indicated they were supportive of the changes proposed.
The CWU has advised it has no further plans to stage strike action at this time, but have pointed out that while the union and IOMPO remain in dispute, the union could call a strike with seven days' notice.
Manx Radio is speaking with Mr Pullinger, who is currently in Birmingham, later this morning.
