Safeguards to rule out future syllabus mix-ups

Safeguards in place to ensure syllabus followed

An Island high school has put safeguards in place to make sure a syllabus mix-up won't be repeated.

Last month, students at Castle Rushen High School were left facing English exam questions on a play they hadn't read, after being given the wrong text to study.

Concessions have been made by the exam board so that students won't be left disadvantaged by the mistake.

Headteacher Keith Winstanley says details will now be double-checked.
