Pharmacies temporarily close due to 'unavoidable reasons'

Some staff shielding and others receiving vaccine

There are some changes to pharmacy opening hours in Douglas and Ramsey due to what's described as 'unavoidable reasons'.

Lloyds branches in St Paul's square in Ramsey and Victoria Road in Douglas (in Shoprite) are both closed today.

The Ramsey store has confirmed it's down to a shortage on staff, as some are having to shield under covid guidance.

It will remain closed tomorrow, but will be open on Wednesday (13 January).

The pharmacy at Governor's Hill in Douglas is closed until 3:30pm today, and the Parliament Street Ramsey branch is closed now for the rest of the day - these are down to staff receiving their covid vaccinations.

No more details have been given regarding the Victoria Road branch closure.
