No plans to increase NI on Island

Something for the next administration to consider

No plans are in place to increase National Insurance payments on the Isle of Man.

Government has confirmed it's not something it's currently looking at.

This week UK Prime Minster Boris Johnson set out a plan to raise National Insurance by 1.25 per cent to address a funding crisis in the health and social care system.

A statement from the Isle of Man Government says: "This is a policy matter and as such will be something for the next administration to consider."
