New exhibitions every six weeks for heritage centre

Trust hopes changing what's on display will encourage repeat visitors

It's hoped introducing new exhibitions every six weeks will bring repeat visitors to a new heritage centre in the south of the Island.

Rushen Heritage Trust recently opened its new home on Bridson Street in Port Erin at the site of a former bus shelter.

The organisation agreed a 99-year lease at £1 per year for the building, which will be open to the public between May and October each year.

Director of the trust, Hugh Davidson, says what's on display will be changed regularly:
