Motorists urged to drive to conditions following Mountain Road crash

Emergency services dealing with one-vehicle incident at Brandywell

The emergency services are urging motorists to drive to the conditions following a crash on the Mountain Road this morning.

Police, fire crews and paramedics have been dealing with an incident involving one vehicle just past the Brandywell Junction.

The driver is out of the vehicle and is being checked by medics, while the road remained closed for over two hours while the scene was cleared.

Drivers are reminded roads can be extra slippery at this time of year.
