Police appeal for information after 'sharp implement' used

Police are appealing for information after a memorial bench in Peel was vandalised.

Officers say a sharp implement has been used to damage the bench on the footpath between Close Chiarn and the MEA power station.

It's thought to have occurred towards the end of May.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Peel Police Station.

It's the second time in recent weeks a memorial bench has been vandalised - another was targeted on Douglas Head on 12 June which had its dedication plaque removed.
