Jason Manford pulls out of Taylorian Christmas

Comedian no longer able to take part in show

Comedian Jason Manford won't be performing on the Isle of Man this Christmas.

He had been due to appear at Taylorian Christmas at the Villa Marina on 21 December, but has had to pull out as the show he's performing in across has been extended.

The production company has confirmed the show will still be going ahead.

In a video shared on Taylorian's Facebook page, Manford apologised to those who've bought tickets:

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control Jason Manford is unable to perform at our Taylorian Christmas at the Villa Marina on 21 December 2019 due to extended work commitments. Jason is just as disappointed as we are as he was very much looking forward to coming back to the Island to perform with our incredible cast, however he has just been given an opportunity that he simply can’t turn down. After speaking with Jason this week he said “I’m very sorry that I’m not able to appear at the Taylorian Christmas Show. But I know it’s going to be a great night with over a 100 very talented performers from the Isle of Man. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and I hope to see you all soon” We do understand that some people may be disappointed but this one night only performance WILL STILL BE GOING AHEAD and it will bring the community together to perform a variety of Christmas hits along with Christmas songs from the Musicals. We do hope you will continue to support our evening but if you do have any questions please let us know. Many thanks Taylorian Productions x
