Island teachers better prepared for lockdown learning - Allinson

Teaching staff adopt and adapt pandemic techniques

Island teachers have been better prepared for virtual classes in the second lockdown, having learnt lessons from the first one.

So says Education Minister Alex Allinson.

It's after many people across the Island have once again adapted to the 'new normal', with children learning from home.

Dr Allinson says teachers are adopting new techniques:

Home learning provisions have been 'better' this lockdown, according to some parents.

Many are relying on remote learning once again, with the majority of the Island's students staying at home to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
