'Hard and fast' lockdown necessary says Chief Minister

However the decision has divided opinion

Plunging the Isle of Man into another lockdown is necessary to ‘stamp out’ unexplained cases of Covid-19.

That was the message from the Chief Minister this morning who announced the Island would be entering a circuit break lockdown just after midnight.

It follows a number of cases of coronavirus which can’t be linked back to the original Steam Packet cluster.
