Ramsey landmark reopened on 135th anniversary

The first section of the Queen's Pier restoration has been opened on the structure's 135th anniversary.

The Lieutenant Governor, Sir Richard Gozney, officially unveiled the first phase of the pier this morning.

The lease allowing work to begin was signed in 2017.

Project Manager Stuart McKenzie says he's always had faith in the work of volunteers and generosity of donors:

The second phase of work will cost around £250,000.
