Dream Disney honeymoon doubtful after Thomas Cook collapse

Newly-weds exploring other travel options

A newly-wed couple's dream Disney honeymoon could be in jeopardy, after their booking was cancelled following the collapse of Thomas Cook earlier this week.

25-year-old Liam Moorhouse, who grew up in Ballaugh, 'went viral' on social media earlier this year after he serenaded his bride on their wedding day with a 'speech' that was actually a compilation of Disney tunes.

The event was reported by a number of UK media outlets, after the wedding in February.

You can watch Mr Moorhouse's 'speech' below:

He and his wife Francesca, who are self-confessed 'massive Disney fans', had booked a belated honeymoon at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, next year.

Mr Moorhouse told Dollin Mercer more about what they had planned:

Manx Radio understands the couple are looking at alternative travel and accommodation options, hoping to revive their big celebration.
