Douglas car park fees reintroduced this week

Council apologises for no advance warning

Douglas Borough Council has reintroduced fees at its car parks in the capital, after they had been free during lockdown.

Payments came back in on Monday (12 April), and the council has apologised for not letting people know ahead of the change.

Shaw's Brow and the Bottleneck had been free during the three Covid-19 lockdowns to 'support key workers, essential retailers and their staff'.
