Criminal Evidence Bill has second reading in Keys

11 questions for oral answer

The House of Keys has a bit more business today than it has done recently.

There are 11 questions for oral answer, and nine for written reply.

In addition, the Criminal Evidence Bill is up for its second reading, and the European Union and Trade Bill its third reading.

Ed Oldham takes a look at some of what's on the question paper:

South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft has four questions for the chief minister about the chief secretary's relationship with UK authorities.

Castletown MHK Jason Moorhouse also has three questions, about changes to pensions, for the treasury minister.

And Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will ask the environment, food and agriculture minister how long on average is taken to respond to an alleged planning breach and to conduct the initial site visit?

You can hear coverage of House of Keys questions live on Manx Radio's AM1368 frequency, online at manxradio.com and via the smartphone apps, from 10am.
