Café creates dog menu so furry friends feel 'more included'

'Hounds at The Sound' includes 'pupcorn' chicken and peanut butter 'pupcakes'

The Cafe at The Sound has introduced what's thought to be the Isle of Man's first ever menu for dogs.

'Hounds at The Sound' offers your canine companion light bites, main meals and even drinks including puppy beer!

The eatery said it wanted to create something special for its 'favourite customers' so they felt more included.

Assistant Manager Emily Thompson told Manx Radio they took hours working on the perfect menu of natural, human consumable, foods and also took allergies that some furry friends may have into consideration as well.

The idea for the menu, she says, was inspired by a puppy called Arlo who belongs to a team member.

"We're dog people, we love dogs. Our chief barista recently got a puppy which has helped push for this." - Emily Thompson (Assistant Manager)

She says people can be reassured there will be no cross-contamination in the kitchen:
