Business as usual for Isle of Man, says chief minister

Meetings in London in week's time

Chief Minister Howard Quayle says it's business as usual for the Isle of Man, despite last night's historic vote in the House of Commons.

MPs rejected Theresa May's Brexit deal by 230 votes in one of the biggest ever government defeats.

Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn has tabled a vote of no confidence in the government, which is due to take place at 7pm.

Speaking on Mandate this morning, Mr Quayle said the Island has been making preparations for various eventualities for some time - and he would be heading to London for meetings next week
