127 new cases of Covid-19

Latest update shows 775 people booked in for tests

Covid-19 cases on the Isle of Man have continued to rise considerably with 127 new cases identified in the last 24 hours.

Of those 115 remain under investigation, seven were from travel, one from a known source and four from an unknown source.

One person is in hospital - that's down from two as of yesterday's update.

The total number of active cases now stands at 893.

The Island's three day average for cases is 190 - 905 new cases have been recorded in the last two weeks.

405 people are waiting for the results of a test with 775 people booked in for tests tomorrow.

Manx Radio is aware of discrepancies in the Covid figures.

Government says this is because the process of tallying is manual and the current volumes mean there is a lag.

It's understood work to resolve the issue is ongoing.
