New snack wagon to open in Douglas
A master mariner has decided to swap boats for burgers by opening a gourmet coffee and snack wagon.
Laurie Royston, who has worked for Isle of Man Harbours for the past eight years, will operate the Wicked Wagon on South Quay Industrial Estate.
The new venture, which opens next Monday (21 May), will offer Fairtrade Diavlo coffee alongside a varied menu including burgers and wursts.
Laurie has been preparing for the role by taking tips on the art of coffee making from an award-winning barista.
Ahead of the launch, there be a promotional event on Saturday (19 May) between 11am and 1pm offering people the chance to try some free samples.
